The Queens Head - Piatti

I stopped by for a pint and an evening meal. The place had a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. I tried the horseflesh with my meal, and it had a real kick! My companion had a burger and said it was excellent.

We stopped by for a late lunch. It didn't look much from outside and inside looks like a regular pub. But the food was actually good. Great flavours and dessert was well presented. Pleasantly surprised. Great little find.

We stopped here on our way home from Wales, heading back to Worcestershire, the food was brilliant, I had duck and there was two massive pieces of it! And a nice side of vegetables, was spot on, the staff was friendly and the place was nice and tidy. Highly recommended.

An excellent place for dining out , and a variety of beers available. The staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant. Very helpful nothing is a problem. The menu has a wide choice, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for . Plenty of parking and a fabulous setting alongside the Montgomery canal.

It's a shame this pub isn't dog friendly. It's in such a great setting along the canal with lovely walks. We had to sit outside with the dog, but it was a suntrap in the evening so ended up staying longer than planned and ended up ordering food. We felt it was slightly over priced but enjoyed the food we had. It was busy so obviously loved by many which is a good recommendation in itself. Visualizza piatti

We went for lunch at the pub, which is lovely and situated in a picturesque location near the canal, where we spotted a family of ducks at the nearby nature reserve. I ordered fish and chips, and while it was delicious, the fish was perhaps a bit greasy, as the batter had absorbed too much oil. The portions were reasonable. We also enjoyed dessert, which was excellent. We had visited a few years ago for a Sunday dinner during the lockdown, and it was wonderful then as well. I definitely plan to return for another meal!

We stopped at the Queen's Head on our way back from a trip to Oswestry. We hadn't made a reservation but were fortunate to find a table available. The staff welcomed us warmly and quickly showed us to our seats. Our drink order was taken promptly and served with a smile. We ordered our food shortly after, including both a starter and a main course, and everything was served without any delay. I can honestly say that the food was absolutely fantastic—some of the best we've had while dining out. found a recommendation for the queens head on an evaluation of the channel so we decided to go the dog out of the pub. we were a little disappointed that there was no dog friendly room inside so we could just sit outside. as always the personal clean water provided for them and made her a damper. the menu had a fabulous choice. almost an Italian menu really. many pasta and pizza. my favorite. we chose a pasta court. we had a starter size and a garlic pizza bread side to share. even these portions were much large enough. eating was absolutely delicious! they must have some amazing chefs!
