"Superb afternoon tea with Prosecco for a hen do for 11 people we had the back room which the venue had beautifully decorated for us. All special diets were catered for and the food was delicious with the mini quiches needing a special mention! Great different fillings in the sandwiches with the coronation chicken being the star of the show! All the teas were displayed on 3 tier stands which was ideal. All the food was tasty and well presented. The staff work very hard. Would suggest you always book as they get busy. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon we all had a wonderful time!"

"Really delicious food in a fantastic setting. Went for the Harvey's Sussex Bitter, the best beer this side of Germany. Followed by the sausage and mash. Mash was really tasty as was the onion gravy, the vegetables that came separately were delicious as well especially once soaked in the gravy! As for the sausages themselves, these were great. You got three of them on the bed of mash, and they were big ol' things very herby and tasty. The food was extremely hearty and filling, which was almost disappointing as I wanted to have room for the chocolate brownie sundae! But alas, I'll have to save that for next time. My girlfriend had the beef burger, which was also another huge affair. But she seemed very happy and it looked delicious. The pub itself is really nice too, well worth a visit even without eating as the low ceilings and big wooden beams take you right back to the 15th century. Also a lot of interest to be had in looking at all the antiques gathered along the wall, no doubt collected after years of people drinking in that establishment!"

"I went to this restaurant on Sunday, September 3rd with my brother and his family who were visiting from Australia, totaling 6 of us. Four members of our group ordered the fish and chips, which they all enjoyed. The crab and prawn linguine was also excellent. However, I was disappointed with my roast pork, as it consisted of 2 pork chops, which I found unusual. I didn't complain since I was with family, but I won't be returning for the roast. Overall, I would rate the food 3 out of 5."

"I ordered a chicken burger, and when it arrived, I was disappointed to find only a tiny dollop of sauce inside and wilted lettuce, as if it had been under a heat lamp for too long. One of our burgers contained a hair, prompting the guest to stop eating immediately. We flagged down our waitress, who was genuinely apologetic and said she would inform her manager. A few minutes later, the manager came over but told us she couldn’t do anything since the burger was mostly eaten. How could we identify a hair without taking a few bites? We insisted on speaking with the manager, and the waitress volunteered to take one of our guests to her. Eventually, the manager arrived, inspected the plate, and bombarded us with questions like “Where is the hair?” and “How long was it?” She then took the plate to the kitchen for better light. About 5 to 10 minutes later, a man in a white shirt approached us—likely a manager or security guard. He also asked questions but soon became rude and dismissive when we tried to explain. He insisted that everyone in the kitchen had short hair and wore hats and hairnets. Throughout this ordeal, we remained polite, responding to their inquiries honestly. After some back-and-forth, where they suggested we might be faking the incident, we pointed out that a camera near our table could provide evidence of the incident. He walked away without any further communication and did not return. The way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable and soured what was meant to be a special birthday meal, for which we traveled over an hour. After finishing our meal, another waiter approached us and simply asked “Amount?” which caught us off guard, as we hadn’t even received a bill yet. Following the hair incident, we noticed security peering around the corner, making us feel as though we were under suspicion. On a positive note, our waitress was lovely and very apologetic about the whole situation, consistently checking to ensure we had what we needed throughout the evening. However, for a £500 bill, I expected significantly better service."

"For the past six months I have looked forward to my weekly visits to Trinity. The menu is varied with a plethora of daily offerings and the environment offers a warm,convivial environment for all from family dining, quiet intimate settings, or even special functions. I commute weekly between Ukraine, Chişinău in the Republic of Moldova and UK. The past 18 months have taken a toll on me, both physically, and emotionally. Trinity offers a brief and embracing escape from each week's images I can't release from my mind and soul. And I would be remiss if I did not state that I've fallen in love: Sadly, it's not often we receive superior service from staff in some restaurants. However, without question, each time I arrive I find myself embraced with a warm smile, embracing arms and unparalleled service. What else could one ever ask for? The greeting is as delicious and soul warming as their wonderful tuscan style French Onion Soup. Très been Trinity! Mon Dieu!"
