"This historic coaching hotel dates back to 1470 and was lovingly restored in the course of the years. I cannot comment personally on the hotel aspect, but the guests seem to appreciate the individuality of the rooms. have been in the small bar area a few times and it has a nice homely/cosy feeling, it. also here twice breakfast, after work for a charity over night! what I have always noticed is the friendliness of the staff that is a good management institution. would definitely recommend, friends who visit the opposite."

Lovely Sunday roast didn't have to wait long and the portion size was generous. Just a shame there was only ice cream or sorbet for those with gluten intolerance. Would eat there again and recommend to others.

Booked for christmas dinner. Table wasnt ready on arrival though pre booked. Service was great once it got going. Very expensive compared to other places. Place looked a bit run down. Service charge added another 78.00 on bill. Food was nice though.
