"One of my favorite restaurants in the province of Cádiz. Well located and very pleasant to visit in this winter season, both for the product and the area in which it is located, which is all very green and you can see Medina behind, and then go on a tourist visit to the town. It is always very pleasant to go and order, of course, their outstanding dishes such as tagarnina cabbage, oxtail or venison cannelloni. The service is excellent, the owner himself takes care of reservations and tables and is very friendly, and they usually give very accurate recommendations for wine, food and more. They recommended a puff pastry dessert with figs that was also delicious. We love this place! It's so nice to go places to eat!"

"Una de las mejores ventas de la zona que hay que visitar obligatoriamente, aunque no te pille de paso. Desviarse algunos kilómetros de las autovías nacionales es la mejor forma de encontrar estos históricos lugares en los que el acto de comer se transforma en un placer. Y si tienes la suerte de vivir en algún paraje cercano, sin duda un lugar para ir a comer o cenar ya sea entre semana o en el fin de semana. Dispone de tres ambientes, o incluso cuatro, diría yo. Una terraza exterior protegida del sol, otra más interior y techada (que fue la que escogimos), una barra con un par de mesas, un precioso salón y luego otro salón, dedicado a José Tomás, que es el idóneo para reuniones no excesivamente numerosas. Nos sirvieron unas papas aliñás con la primera consumición que estaban muy buenas. De entrante pedimos, por recomendación, un delicioso paté de perdiz que lo acompañan de sus tostaditas y sus regañás. También unos pimientos asados riquísimos acompañados de melva. Y, por suerte, pudimos probar el afamado cochinillo, pues no lo habíamos encargado, pero disponían de algunos cuartos. Estaba de diez. Uno de los mejores cochinillos que hemos comido nunca, a la altura de Jose María o Cándido (en Segovia) pero con una diferencia: más suave y de más fácil digestión. Tanto la capa de grasa como la corteza externa eran menos gruesas. Lo justo. El pan, excelente. De postre una tarta de la abuela. Después de hacer algunos kilómetros por los alrededores disfrutando de un fresco día de agosto ... volvimos para cenar (ya algo más ligero y en la terraza exterior). La atención ágil y cercana, lo cual es de agradecer. Y, de lo mejor, ver al propietario disfrutando de su trabajo. Lugar muy recomendable al que volveremos."
