Nice authentic Italian restaurant. The live music was an added bonus which we really enjoyed. The food was tasty and left us satisfied. I'd like to return sometime soon for another romantic night out

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant. It was just super! A cosy atmosphere, great food, cheerful waiters. And by the way, good homemade white wine. Thank you very much! You made my party even better.

Warm reception, seated promptly, food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all very attentive and pleasant. The price was great for a 3 course meal for 2. Would highly recommend and will be going again.

Great evening out with friends. Food was lovely, has improved immensely since my last visit. Live music by Mark Searle was great, people were dancing, plus Villa Romana staff joined in, wonderful would recommended.

At first we thought it was a bit more expensive than what we are used to for an Italian BUT it was worth every penny! I ordered the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Also the service was very friendly. I would definitely go back again.

Initial welcome rather stern, but a really good meal in a nice environment. Good service, attentive when needed and alert to need to offer drinks, clear tables, etc. Two mains, two desserts, one wine spritzer, one soft drink, total £50. An enjoyable experience.

I had a delicious lemon sea bass! The staff were incredibly welcoming and lovely. The food was delicious. I was on my own, as I'm staying nearby for a training course, but the atmosphere was still wonderful. Highly recommended, will definitely be going back to try more dishes! Fantastic food and such a warm ambience. The waiting staff is so attentive. The prices are a little bit more than the most standard Italian but this is no ordinary Italian restaurant. We went their for my friend's birthday and her partner told them when booking the table. They even placed a birthday banner on the table and all the waiting staff came out to sing happy birthday when they brought the desserts out. Absolutely loved the place and cannot wait to return.

What a lovely restaurant. We came as an early new year celebration just my wife and I. Very relaxing and intimate inside, nice music, very comfortable seating. The staff were all very friendly. It is quite expensive but you do get what you pay for. The food is superb. My wife stated that the pasta she had was the best she has ever tasted! Given we went to Rome this year and ate lots of pasta that is very high praise indeed! Well worth a visit and for sure we will be going back.
