Came for food sadly stopped serving at 7 however been many times and it’s always perfect. Staff great inside is warm and welcoming. Will be back again soon before you stop serving

Yet again another brilliant lunch 2nd time this week but with different people. No wonder I can't lose any weight! Excellent value and quality food. The staff are brilliant; so friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Thank you!

My first time with members of family. Good choices and menu combinations including a seniors 3 course. Service was excellent, food served quickly. All very tasty and good sensible not extravagant portion sizes. Would def recommend. Visualizza piatti

We booked a table for family on 14 th July to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff were wonderful, friendly helpful and welcoming. Every meal was very good, hot tasty and well presented my compliments to the kitchen staff) I was anxious about the occasion I wanted it to be special, it really was , Thankyou again to the lovely staff on the night for making it wonderful .

went out with the family for christmas meal, i had the for starters brie cranberry bruschetta, main course baked cod salmon duo, for desserts i had chocolate truffle cake , which i can all recommend, the staff were good, and a good pint of robinsons unicorn bitter, my only criticism the pub was a bit on cold side, need a good old coal fire a part from that a great pub, good food

Early Christmas lunch with family. Pub was decorated lovely, very welcoming. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Service very quick. 99% of food was spot on, bit of an issue with one dish which was taken off the overall bill. Staff Very apologetic , very concerned, however did not spoil the day. I went with 6 family members, eating in this pub for the first time although i had real ales in there before, the staff were friendly and helpful, the menu was varied and interesting,i ordered the large cod and chips,it was very large and absolutely gorgeous,then had a dessert, lattice apple pie with cinnamon and custard again absolutely gorgeous,all the other meals looked great and you certainly get value for money, and the addition of real ales was the main reason we picked the place,we all agreed we will return.

Visited for Sunday lunch as a large family group (12 of us) and it was such a disappointment. We waited almost an hour from placing our order to being served. When we enquired about the food, the waitress did say they were busy but it didn’t look particularly busy. The majority of our group had the Sunday roast which was really bland and tasteless and not even much of it. Tasted like they’d used frozen carrots Yorkshire puddings, burnt ham for the kids roast we wondered if the chef was on holiday? The other meals weren’t any better and we all left feeling frustrated after waiting so long for a very below average meal. Let’s just say we won’t be visiting again in a hurry.

We visited this dog-friendly pub for a Sunday lunch. The place was clean and cosy, but the service was slow and disorganized. We had four different staff members attending us, but none of them seemed to notice when we needed something. The tomato soup was homemade and delicious, but the main courses were uneven. The pork roast was generous and crispy, but the beef and turkey were dry and bland. The cauliflower cheese was disappointing, as it tasted like a cheap mix with no real cheese flavour. The wine was lovely and cold and the glasses were spotless. The roast potatoes were undercooked and hard.
