Private, courteous, attentive. Excellent wine list. Loved the feeling of Provence in Auvernier. The staff was very human and polite. I found the dining room to be quieter than the outdoor café seating. Absolutely beautiful, would return again!

While the filets de perche (if available from the lac de Neuchatel) are their excellent signature dish, the tarte au citron was a reference for me worldwide. There is nothing that comes close and you need to get it when it is available on your menu.

It's an excellent restaurant, where I enjoy eating several times a month. They have a good choice food and their specialty is fresh fish from the local lake (lac de Neuchâtel), including pike. The local Rotary club has its weekly meeting and lunch there.

Ausgebuchtes Restaurant, bitte reservieren sonst sitzen Sie auf dem Trockenen. Im Ernst, das Haus bietet wirklich top Fischmenüs für jeden Fleischliebhaber. Einfach hingehen und geniessen. Das Personal ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieses Haus empfehle ich jederzeit gerne.

Consistently good food and service! The food menu isn’t huge and the choice of wine is also a bit limited but the quality of food is really good and the venue is warm and pleasant. Great to sit outside in summer or indoors in winter. Friendly staff. Always a pleasure. Need to book as often busy!

It looked like a good restaurant, but what a disappointment. Above all, there is a fish restaurant, but there were no local fish on the menu. The prices corresponded to Lausanne or other cities. The salad you can see in my pictures was 10 sfr, the dry calfs about 32sfr. That's on the country side. The quality compared to what I have it is a no, no! Honestly, it's a shame because the quality of the meat was very good. But how it was done. No, thanks.

Restaurant hat einen grossen Aussenbereich, der nur durch eine wenig befahrene Strasse an die Seepromenade angrenzt. Wir haben das Restaurant aufgrund der Fischspeisen auf der Karte gewählt. Sehr grosse Auswahl an Vor- und Hauptspeisen mit Süss- und Salzwasser-Fischen sowie Meeresfrüchten. Wir haben die Filets de perche gewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Nette, ab und zu ein wenig unorganisierte Bedienung, da jeder Kellner/in für jeden Tisch zuständig ist, sehr gut assortierte Weinkarte mit zahlreichen einheimischen Gewächsen. Sehr schöne und leckere Nachspeisen Karte. Einziger Wermutstropfen, für den das Restaurant aber nichts dafür kann, war, dass der Neuenburgersee nicht genügend Fische...

When you at a restaurant that is listed in the Michelin guide you expect the food to be great ...and indeed it was. Service was great .. nothing to say. Food as a starter , tuna cubes , a new interpretation on sashimi, with soy sauce and wasabi simple, tasty, perfect sashimi. As a main course, monkfish sea devil again, perfectly done, moist but cooked through, with vegetables and butter sauce ... again simple but very very tasty dish. In terms of drinks they have a great selection , wines, beer, strong spirits, you name it.
