"We visited this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I can't believe I only discovered it a few weeks ago. The staff were excellent—very friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. For dinner, I had the fillet steak cooked medium rare, while my husband opted for the ribeye, also medium rare. We added some sauces: I chose the creamy mushroom sauce, and my husband had the peppercorn sauce. Our meals were served with triple-cooked chips, mushrooms, tomatoes, and sweetcorn. We also shared an "onion rose," which was a beautifully battered onion shaped like a rose. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the steaks were done exactly to our liking. After our meal, we stayed to try a couple of cocktails, which were delightful. We will definitely be back, and I want to extend our thanks to the staff for making it such a wonderful evening."

The Sunday roasts and steak were absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place. We chose to visit after reading the reviews, and it certainly lived up to our expectations!

I took my mother there for lunch today, and it was wonderful! The ambiance was delightful, and everything was perfect, including the staff and the restaurant itself. This is my fourth visit, and I can't recommend it enough!

The food was excellent, but I felt disappointed because I had booked a bottomless brunch. The selection of drinks was limited, and the staff didn't refill as quickly as I've experienced in other bars. Overall, not worth the money.

many thanks to the house for very courteous, efficient and friendly, for all our family young and old. we have all enjoyed us very much! the food was great! I didn't think we'd eat anything, but we had a good one! would recommend everyone for a small family meeting. Thank you!

I had dinner here last night with my mom and sister, and everything was excellent. The service, cocktails, food, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The food was delicious, served hot, beautifully presented, and the portion sizes were just right. This is a wonderful addition for Gainsborough!

I stopped in for a quick drink on Saturday night, but ended up enjoying more than just one. I also ordered some food, which arrived promptly despite the place being busy. The system of using a register card for drinks is efficient, so you don't have to wait at the bar for service. I highly recommend the halloumi fries – they were delicious. The staff was great, and I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for the excellent Long Island iced tea!
