"Disappointing display of incompetence and lack of hospitality Last Saturday evening I visited this restaurant as part of a group of 20 people for which we had originally made a reservation for 25 people. Due to last minute cancellations, we were unfortunately unable to show up with the full number, which can happen with larger groups and is usually met with understanding. Not so in this restaurant: The manager approached our table and, in front of the entire group, pointed out to me in an unfriendly and arrogant tone that “each unoccupied chair costs 30 euros”. Instead of responding constructively or professionally, he engaged in an unnecessarily pointed and downright inappropriate lecture, as if I were personally responsible for the others' absence. Such behavior not only seemed strange, but also contradicted basic standards of respectful customer interaction. The situation escalated further when he simply refused to serve me due to my lack of apology which he vehemently demanded from me. While everyone else at the table was able to order without any problem, I was not asked for a drink or a meal. This decision seemed to have arisen solely from his anger and not from any rational, business consideration. A restaurant should be a place where all guests are equally welcome and treated professionally, regardless of external circumstances or misunderstandings. The fact that the managing director acted in such an unnecessarily didactic manner and refused to serve me leaves me with the impression that hospitality and customer orientation are unfortunately not part of the standard here. While everyone else at the table was able to order without issue, I was neither asked for a drink nor offered a meal. This decision seemed to stem solely from his personal annoyance rather than any rational business consideration. A restaurant should be a place where all guests are equally welcome and treated professionally, regardless of external circumstances or misunderstandings. That the manager acted in such an unnecessarily condescending manner and denied me service leaves me with the impression that hospitality and customer focus are unfortunately not priorities here. For those who value respectful and professional service, there are numerous alternatives that have a much better understanding and appreciation of the standards expected in the hospitality industry."

It's always wonderful atmosphere there! This place is my favorite. Ok! Sometimes it's crowded and noisy but it has its own charm like in Italy! Highly recommended if you prefer delicious and real Italian cuisine

Had pizza here one evening, service was good, prices were average and the pizzas were tasty. The restaurant is well designed and smart, very clean. There is nothing to distinguish this restaurant from thousands of others, nothing very individual stands out. But our pizzas and salad were fine, the beer was good and we left satisfied.

On a Saturday night we decided to try a visit to a local Italian, no reservation meant we were seated at a bar for 10 mins before being given a table,An extremely busy vibe inside as to be expected in an obviously popular venue. Dishes chosen were a pasta arabiatta and a saltimboca a al romana.both delivered promptly. Excellent quality served with a small side and a small focaccia, desserts so good from a small selection.5 choices of original origin grappa's.
