Been several times and the for is always excellent and decent value for money. Unfortunately the service is very variable; sometimes acceptable, sometimes seriously below par. On this occasion everyone seemed very miserable, not a smile or greeting in sight.

Not like it used to be. The standard of the food is now dreadful. The meat was burnt and overcooked. The vegetables were fresh even though they were overcooked. The service was good. The parking has always been awkward. It’s a shame but due to burnt hard meat will not return. Visualizza piatti

First time back at this restaurant to covid and delighted to say very little has changed.The staff are friendly remember you and cannot do enough to ensure you evening goes well.We had our favorite go-to menu items the duck and the chocolate pudding.just devine .if you are in the area you MUST visit

Fantastic meal , both the rib eye and fillet were fantastic. No starters ordered but bread , olives and gazpacho on the table. Staff were friendly and easily the best place we’d eaten for the welcome and service in the last two weeks We were late to leave so photos show us last there and empty tables but it had a good atmosphere and mood lighting , felt cosy and welcome outside

It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was full. When you go out for dinner on a Saturday night in this area you know it's going to be a full restaurant and service will not be as it maybe it is during the week. The waiters gave us a complimentary drink in arrival and some very nice snacks as we waited. The food was excellent and it is a really nice place. Food was as good as it always is, however the service was poor. The waiters didn’t seem to want to be there. They rushed each part of our meal, they added a steak on to the bill , I knocked an espresso over and they were reluctant to replace even though the meal was upwards of 260 euros for 5 of us!! Felt very rushed and was perched on a corner of the road not in the main terrace, we we positioned below trees where lots of birds are in the trees which obviously means they can deposit over the top of where your eating, fortunately this didn’t happen but the whole experience was not worth the money we paid and was disappointing overall. We went to the restaurant with our friends as part of our last evening in Estepona When we arrived the setting was very pleasant and the waiter came over and we ordered. We only ordered three starters to share between the four adults and these came within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, That was when disaster struck, as we waited a further hour and- a half for our eight Maine courses that had not arrived. The waiter who was also the manager told us to wait for 5 minutes. Once the time passed he told us another 15 minutes. By 11pm and after multiple times of asking for our food it finally arrived. This was our first visit to Ramos which used to be one of our favourite restaurants since it reopened after the death of the original owner. Such a huge disappointment. They have squeezed in more tables outside, which means that several are on the pavement of the side street. On a breezy evening that's not viable, because the wind blows the table cloth and everything on it) all over the place and it is not a pleasant environment. The waiting staff, particularly the head waiter, were unfriendly and unwelcoming almost to the point of being rude. Only the waitress was polite and friendly.
