"So what about one of my favorite restaurants...it doesn't look like much in an industrial area...but the warm atmosphere and the welcome...giant...afterwards we talk about the pasta food madness ... it's the first time I've had the cook come out with the pan to offer extra at no extra charge ... and really very decent prices ... I go back there from time to time when I am in Martigny, for me it is an exceptional address for its simplicity, its sense of service and above all the quality of what it serves... "The chasse (hunting) season is on now and friends recommended this restaurant for their chasse. We had a great lunch there excellent and friendly service, delicious food extremely well presented and will go back for sure. It is right in the middle of the old village of Charrat, just of the main Martigny/Sion road. Lots of parking near the restaurant. It was busy so a reservation is recommended. We had a starter of terrine de cerf, then an entrecôte de cerf and ended with a Café Glacé. All were great. Not cheap cost 180frs for two people for those three courses, plus a large bottle of water and 3dl of local (very nice) wine. But worth the price. Lunch and dinner menu is the same..."

"I'm posting this review after 6 or 7 outings to this place which is definitely worth the detour. Already, great team in terms of human relations. Always in a good mood and actively listening to everyone's sensitivity. Little anecdote as a vegan, from the first time, my request for no animal source ingredients was heard and resolved with a smile. I really felt treated with genuine respect. This is so rare in the restaurant world that it deserves to be highlighted and recognized. Well done and thank you. That said, the quality and freshness of the food as well as the presentation are also impeccable, it is each time a festival for the eyes and the taste buds. Another very pleasant aspect is that you can take your time without the pressure of having to free up space. So nothing to do with a fast food restaurant, it's a real restaurant worthy of this name that I highly recommend and where I return with great pleasure."

"we were in martigny 2 days and both days went to dinner to le bistrot. it's not a Posh place. it is easy to house where all waiters like to see their customers! After Covid-19 the young introduced an electronic menu that is...big and comfortable! they don't even have to spend time to choose a dish, they can do it home all 4 dishes that we tried (both ravioli in the menu, pizza 4 formaggi and cannelloni) were very delicious and delicious. red Italian weine are delicious. it is written the price for a dl, but they pour more they might be surprised that many local people come to a chat or drink a beer or wine. the kitchen is good, you will not be disappointed!"

"This restaurant opened last year It has a very intersting menu mostly as the name indicates fish and meat. The cuisine is very creative and the chef uses very fresh ingredients. If he doesn't have something fresh he doesn't serve it! Prices are...reasonable and the staff are delightful! Tables are well spaced and there is a nice little garden for outside dining in the summer. the location right next to the UBS on the Place Centrale is perfect. Their fricassé of gambas is great shrimp are already peeled and the sauce is very tasty. The Boulliabase du Chef is lovely again, very fresh fish and you can taste each different fish instead of having them swamped by the taste of the sauce. There is a plat du jour each day at lunchtime. Average cost of a meal for us, including courses and of open wine was around for two. However it wasn't really necessary to have the dessert!! But my husband said the Tarte Tatin was the best he ever ate!"
