Formidable! :) I wish I were here, right nowQuite possibly one of the best meals I've eaten in France.

Visited here on a buzzing Friday night with friends. Great wine, excellent choice of high quality tapas, and food service. Would definitely recommend visiting here and ordering the foie gras and the ceviche.

Soupe a l'oignon not good; tastes like a standard veggies/chicken soup, far from what a good soupe a l'oignon should be. Lyonnaise salade was so so with really strong mustard taste from the dressing. Quenelle was good though. It's a 6

Staff was attentive. Service was very fast. Tapas selection excellent for sampling good classic French small plates: foie gras, steak tartare, escargot, charcuterie, etc. Many unique touches such as putting crumbled Oreo cookie into the center of the fois gras. Nice large selection of modestly priced wines. Definite go to kind of place.

We had a few glasses of wine here on a couple of evenings sitting outside. Bit bothered by smoke from people standing in the street outside of various bars. One evening we ate inside. Got the last seats at the bar. Delicious tapas style dishes...all nicely presented. The very small number of staff managing all the customers by themselves, constantly at the double keeping everyone happy. Don't know how they keep it up. Great experience.

What a wonderful, smart little restaurant this is !! We had lunch here and chose the plat de jour, we really didn't quite know what we were getting but when the dish arrived we were delighted with the presentation and the wonderful taste - couldn't fault it. We were served by a pretty young waitress who spoke English rather well and could not have been more charming. This was certainly the best restaurant for us in Lyon. The place is small but rather elegant. It deserves to be busy and it is - so get there early !! Highly recommended.

Last night we decided to wander across the Saone for an evening stroll. We found Ange Di Vin by accident. It was very busy but there seemed to be a couple of spaces. Inside the waitress asked if we had a reservation. My heart sank... no. Let me see she said. Luckily they made space at the bar and we were able to enjoy, a delicious red from a great choice of wines, watch the barman creating all sorts of drink delights in very pretty glasses, and enjoy the wonderful ambience. It was my last dinner on a 5 week solo visit to France and tho the area is filled with many wonderful restaurants and bouchons nothing felt quite right. Then I found this enchanting wine bar. The waitress was very helpful in choosing wine. There's a chalkboard list inside of maybe 25 French wines, mostly local, and all available by the glass. I tried 2 whites. mmm! I sat outside people watching so I did have to get up to check the wine list for #2 but that's part of the fun. I had 2 tapas...a cheese platter (with a vividly green basil cheese) and a spicy shrimp dish. I love wine bars and this one was divine.
