"the Luna Rossa is the slightly different Italian, with one munking, the owners are Swiss and not even Italians. At least italian is spoken. It is a very small, fine Ristorante in an angled alley near the Danube with cucina italiana. Whoever searches for pizza is wrong here. You can also look a little deeper into the wallet, but you like to do that, because here you get really good and fresh quality. Each individual dish tastes as if it had cooked the Italian aunt personally and none corresponds to the 0815 dishes of each average Italian. During our last visit, my accompaniment ordered an entrecote and our eyes were overswollen, as this ceremonially from the cellar vault of the very friendly upper, huge piece of animal would have fit well into any XXL restaurant... By the way, the service staff is very striving for every guest. It is very clean and the ambience is cozy, familiar and family. Meine Tochter und ich waren heute bei Euch essen. Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohlgefühlt und das Essen war ein Traum. Wenn wir wieder in Regensburg sind werden wir Euch gern wieder besuchen.

Very good food. We had two appetizers and as the main course homemade pasta(sensationell) with fresh salmon. The dessert(Tiramisu) looked very tempting, but we will pick it up for the next visit. Keep going. Price performance is perfectly justified!

We had accidentally discovered the Luna Rossa two years ago. In the meantime we were three times a guest and every time it was a nice evening with delicious food. Prices are slightly higher, but the taste is great. We want to draw a star from a heavy heart, because for the price the service would have to be a bit more attentive. Wine we have completely gifted ourselves, our water bottle was long empty and around a dessert we asked for 60 minutes waiting for ourselves. This would be solved with a further service. We'll definitely be back! Maybe I can fix five stars?

The Luna Rossa is now the tribal place of my mother and me. We meet there almost every week and enjoy the good food. Every time we are thrilled with the incredibly good taste of the dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. I don't exaggerate when I say: the dishes are tastefully a poem! In summer, the cool courtyard invites you to a relaxed dinner and in winter you can relax in the romantic atmosphere under the wooden beams.
