"Well informed and very welcoming little restaurant. Very nice patron and staff. Safe to eat. Loved the tomato soup. Good drinks in fancy glasses. Pizza was good! Last not least the dessert options were great: we got calabrian (icecream) tartuffi (white chocolate with pistache), there was also sorbetto. We'll definitely come back try more. My non-celiac companion loved their pizza, too."

"Reservamos el día anterior por un tiempo en Uja Traube y no nos decepcionó.Cuando llegamos, el personal verificó dos veces que habíamos desinfectado, y las mesas parecían estar lo suficientemente separadas, lo cual es reconfortante en la época de Covid. El interior está decorado de forma pintoresca en lo que parece ser un estilo muy tradicional de Engadin.El menú es muy estilístico (un poco difícil de leer) y la comida parecía ser especialidades de Engadin. Creo que teníamos el menú de cuatro platos y cada plato se presentó con elegancia y estaba delicioso. El criterio que tengo para una buena comida de restaurante es que no debería poder recrearla fácilmente en casa, y Uja Traube encajaba en ese proyecto.Lo que realmente hizo que la comida fuera memorable fue el gran miembro del personal que se tomó el tiempo para charlar con nosotros y hacernos sentir como en casa. Ayudó que fuéramos expatriados australianos y ella había pasado algún tiempo en Australia y realmente le encantó. También nos dimos cuenta de que muchos de los cocineros meseros en Scuol son expatriados, de todo el mundo, que habían estado más o menos atrapados en Suiza por Corona, como nosotros."

"So unfreundliches Personal habe ich in einem Restaurant schon lange nicht mehr, oder sogar noch nie, erlebt. Rechts von mir sass ein älterer Mann, welcher viel Zeit benötigte. Erst beim Essen wurde mir klar, dass er wohl ein Hirnschlag gehabt haben muss. Ein Kellner nahm ihm zweimal die Menukarte weg, weil er mit einem weiteren Gast eine Diskussion betreffend bestelltem Essen hatte. Beim Zahlen fluchte die Kellnerin Madona , weil der ältere Herr sich nicht klar ausdrücken konnte. Zwei jüngere Herren mussten ihr Cordon Bleu bei 30 Grad an der prallen Sonne essen. Zwar hatte es zwei Tische am Schatten, diese seien anscheinend reserviert. Auf ihre Frage, ob sie den Tisch wechseln können, wurden sie vom Kellner mit einem harschen NEIN abgefertigt. Dafür bekam ich einen Vierertisch, auf welchem ein Reservations-Schild stand. Da auch bei meinem Aufbruch um 13.15 Uhr die beiden Tische immer noch frei waren, ist es alles andere als fraglich, ob überhaupt Reservationen vorlagen. Es macht überhaupt keinen Spass bei einer solchen Ambiente zu essen. Ach ja, das Essen war o.k."

"We wanted to eat at the restaurant with the whole family. While we waited for the food, we had a yesss with the kids. The innkeeper forbade us. It would be better if we had a game on smartphones. That would be allowed. We were allowed to do this throughout the entire ski area. It's a shame about the friendly staff."

Die Begrüßung durch die Eltern war etwas rau, aber das Personal und der Sohn des Besitzers sind sehr freundlich und einladend.Die Küche ist absolut fantastisch, verwendet nur frische Produkte und bietet Ihnen einen Geschmack, der Sie an die Küche Ihrer Großmutter erinnert. ,Die Weinkarte ist ausgezeichnet und preisgünstig für die Region. Sehr freundlicher und effizienter Service.Insgesamt ein fantastisches Erlebnis trotz der langen Fahrt!"
