Came along for a business meeting and had exceptional service and great good. The was very friendly and it was a great experience

I have been going to The Plough for years and I must say, since the new landlady took over, she and her staff have done an amazing job. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend it.

I went to this restaurant tonight and I must say the staff was amazing and friendly, ready to assist with anything! The atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding, with quick service. I have no complaints and I would definitely come back again!

The food was cold, we told them one of us didn't have ID, we were served alcoholic drinks anyway, then confiscated later on even though they knew who the drink was for initially, then later on refused service to someone who had ID, which drink...was for them. This made quite an unpleasant night for us.

Went for lunch after xmas shopping and thought I would try this place. Had a good name back in the day so visited again but failed to live up to past ventures. Steak cold chips not good . Pepper sauce was very weak too. Peas...and garlic bread was nice though. Partner had scampi and chips and wasn't impressed either. Not many people in there. This probably tells why. wanted somewhere other than McD's to take my year old Grandson for tea. I use the pub sometimes for a quick pint after a hard day and find the people there friendly. Had the Kids Meal and a burger for me he kids meal...was devoured and I thoroughly enjoyed the chips that came with the tasty burger. Not many other Diners and cannot understand why. Reasonably value, tasty food and good service was my experience.

Really don't bother with eating here. Pie was grisly and fatty, soggy chewy pastry, tinned grey mushrooms apparently they had run out of veg but forgot to mention it. Lumpy gravy more like wall paper paste. Curry with microwave rice, greasy poppadom, awful experience ,...shame because the young bar staff were fine, the place was nice, but if thats homecooked food it was a joke. Complained to head office as really sub standard for a marstons pub.

We were part of a party of celebrating a birthday, all meals were ordered in advance, when it came to serving it was shambolic wrong orders going to people very slow service by the time the last meals were Brough out, over half had...already finished eating. Ran out of certain sauces even tho they were pre ordered. Ran out of toilet rolls also napkins. Would not recommend going here for food.
