"I seldom bother to review anywhere unless they are very good or very bad. This place had some of each.I chose it because it had good reviews and on looking at the menu outside it had a Vegetarian Lasagna which I fancied, so we booked. When we arrived it seemed that the so called Vegetarian Lasagna contained shrimp. Why not call it Seafood Lasagna? Anyway we ordered two other vegetarian options, they were quite good, but not what I had booked for. Then when I came to pay, they are possibly the only restaurant in the town who don't take cards which could have been a problem. So on balance we had a good meal, it was tasty it was generous portions, but I was dissapointed that the menu was misleading and inability to pay by card."

When you're done eating the local fare, switch to this place. Pastas and Pizza and salads were good.

Perfect for a family meal. Authentic, friendly and with food just like Nona would make. Highly recommended.

Showed up here because the pizzeria across from our hotel closed early. Their loss our gain! The food at Profumo was freshly prepared with personal touches. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Put this jewel on your list!

It was such a relaxing evening having the best Italian food and sitting on the street watching the people go by. Everyone was super friendly and gave us the best recommendations for food as well as for wine. A perfect way to spend an evening.

Looking for something different and lighter than the average local fare, we stopped here and each had a plate of excellent home-made pasta with sauce, sitting outside. Not the cheapest plate of pasta I've ever had, but plentiful and very good.

We really enjoyed our dinner here and will go again. The best Italian food outside of Italy. It's located very close to the town center and it's very reasonably priced. A reservation is a must because it fills up fast. Pasta is homemade daily and the wine is amazing.

There are not that many tables inside, but if you have to wait - it's worth it! The menue is extremely small because every day they have different specialies. I had the homemade pasta "Arrabiata" while my wife had the ragout. Both were great. The pasta with scampi looked good too - but they were a table away...

We stumbled into this place for dinner and got lucky there was a table just coming available. It's small and it was full. The waitress was super friendly and spoke great English. The menu is prepared daily and all the pasta was fresh-made in house. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for more. Would highly recommend going here, but be sure to call ahead and make a reservation!

Went on a slow evening in January and the place was pretty empty. Had a flatbread appetizer starter which was very nice. For mains a couple of us had the Osco Buco which was super tender and served with pasta and a generous side salad. The vegetable lasagna and the ragu were also very good. No room for dessert, but they looked yummy as well. Service was very good. A nice change from the Bavarian meat fest we've been on.

"The owners of the hotel were so lovely and friendly. We stayed for one night including breakfast. The room was clean and warm as we went during heavy snow, shame there was no tea making facilities as it would have been nice being in the freezing cold. Beds were comfy enough and the room we had also had a bathtub. No TV in ours, although some rooms have depending which you get assigned. Great location. The bad part of our stay was unfortunately this unpleasant woman working during the breakfast who proceeded to shout at us. Breakfast was served until 10.30am and my partner and I arrived at 10am to be served breakfast and usually there is no real time limit to finish this. (The breakfast was very generous and delicious) Not once were we told the staff was expecting us to finish everything AT 10.30. This blonde woman with glasses then came out at 10.25, didn’t speak to us and simply stood at our table staring. She then walked away. She then came out AGAIN at 10.30 rudely shoving a paper saying 10.30 in my partner’s face (he speaks German) and then she proceeded to raise her voice and shout at us for not eating quick enough and how they’re supposed to get the restaurant ready when they had enough time. Checkout is at 11am so we left breakfast at 10.50 to quickly pack up and check out, and by the time we came down the table was cleared. So it took less than 10 mins to clear our table and it was clearly unnecessary to have this woman ruin our morning and our stay. If you do stay here and have breakfast either get ready to finish 5 rolls of bread, 2 cakes, a cheeseboard, selection of meats, eggs, cereal, tea and coffee before 10.30 or get ready to be yelled at. She needs to learn manners tbh."
