Welcome and very warm service. The menu is at a very affordable price, the products worked are fresh and superbly sublimated by the chef. The advice of the wines was perfect. This is a place to discover very quickly. Bravo!!!

For the third year in a row chef Hervé and his wife/hostess Virginie have managed to exceed our exceptions and reinvent the menu yet again. Every dish the chef makes is a true masterpiece. Perfectly paired with the warm welcome and wonderful service Virginie gives. Definitely a must-try when you visit this region and a damn good reason to venture out here.

Unassuming from the quaint 1 lane road that one arrives from and likely the same from heaven, where one exits this gem of culinary delight, L’Ardoise is a kitchen that delivers. Don’t expect extra polished waiters or Paris pretense, but rather complex garden fresh food of extraordinary quality, beautifully presented with lovely quality from stem to stern. The crumbled crab with celery gazpacho of peas with mint crunchy with roasted seeds was divine and the sea bream and scallop ceviche with citrus zest avocado cream with lime cucumber sorbet was next level. The mains were equally prepared of great quality both the Sea Bass and the tournedos of beef tenderloin, pan-fried in vinegrower juice...
