Great evening at the Bell with a friend. Food was amazing and service was fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be back

A lovely meal served by attentive staff. Ample parking and a nice selection of tables of varying sizes. Menu interesting but not too broad. Quality of our food choices was excellent.

First visit this year very nice inside, roaring fire, we all had something different off the Christmas menu. Food was spot on, warm plates so overall very good. Staff were very keen and attentive so a very enjoyable evening and worth 4 stars. Visualizza piatti

11 of us ate at dinner. EVERY plate of food was delicious, and the plates were hot so the food stayed hot. This is the third time we have eaten there with absolutely no complaints. Would really recommend. Lewis was our server and did a great job.

Vegan choice much reduced and very pricey considering vegetable are so cheap to buy. The vegan curry gone, the delicious vegan billionaires bar dessert gone. Very disappointing. Atmosphere was good and our waitress Jasmine, was lovely and very concerned that our dining experience was not what we expected.

4 of us came to catch up have dinner, late in November. All four of us loved all of our meals. I had the Carrot soup, followed by Christmas Dinner. Best soup I’ve ever had…..so tasty. The Christmas dinner was gorgeous too, I didn’t get a piggie in a blanket though! Went to a ‘posher’ restaurant recently the xmas dinner was v poor by comparison to yours. We like Godstone and visit occasionally, for The Bell and Oka down the road. Last Friday Lunchtime, we took a chance on getting a table as the amount of cars there showed very busy. Our good luck was to be shown to a table in the Conservatory and settling in we thoroughly enjoyed Sea Bass and a Steak and Malbec pie, both really good and great coffee. It's worth the journey from East Kent for the Bell alone!

We booked a celebration family New Years day lunch . Staff were openly suffering the celebrations of night before. Dishes of the set menu missing even though the New Year’s Eve covers were at a low. . We had a small child and toddler with us and requested their meals arrived the same time as our starters , which they did not and took nearly an hour. Our three main meals did not arrive for nearly 2 hours and not until we had to complain. The unacceptable delay was challenging to the children and unfair to surrounding customers. Having booked a festive lunch for 4 of us on the first Saturday of December, we arrived to be seated at a pleasant table in the conservatory. We had endured an unsatisfactory Christmas lunch at another pub in west Kent last December so chose the Bell in anticipation of a great meal. Drinks were attended to promptly. A waitress started taking our order for food and we asked for a main course and dessert, skipping a starter as it would be too much to eat. The waitress told us we had to have all three courses as that was what the festive menu provided. We chose the mushrooms which were nice.
