A stunning building! Such a lovely Sunday lunch, the roast was delicious and hubby had one of the best steaks he has had in a long while. Staff were so good and a very dog friendly establishment!

Friendly staff. I get very anxious in new places, but felt comfortable from the moment I walked through the door. We all had a meal and they were all cooked perfectly and served hot with a smile. Definately coming again.

The meals were very good. Location is excellent, next to the river in Ringwood. Staff were good without being exceptional, on the whole. However, special thanks to the waitress for dealing so well with special dietary requirements. Good value for money. Visualizza piatti

Popped in for a Sunday roast,sat in the garden which has a beautiful feel to it despite it being close to the main road. We had two children roasts,home made bread sauce and some of the best horseradish sauce I have ever had!! Despite hating to pay pub prices for soft drinks it was one of the nicest tasting, and best presented roasts I have had for some time…. So do go here if you fancy a nice roast!

We rang from the car to book Friday night meal while travelling through. The welcome and service from the phone call to when we left was friendly, charming and efficient. Thanks Paul, Holly and the team. We all had peppered steak and mushroom pie, really tender meat. Good portion size. Lovely ambiance with a live band. I had the impression it is a very family friendly pub. Great value, great stop-off.

We had been wanting to go to this pub for years and finally made the booking. We were not disappointed. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent (I had the fish and chips) and the staff were very friendly and accommodating when we asked to change tables. My only issue really was getting there. I thought now that the road works had finished on the main road that we could go in that way but you can't so maybe a little update on the website would be good google maps still takes you that way too. Whenever you are in Ringwood you must visit the fish inn (booking ahead recommended). Judith and Simon the chef/husband run an exceptional Inn with proper, awesome home made/cooked food with courteous, polite professional friendly service. We definitely recommend chefs homemade steak and ale pie, just full of meat and flavour off the scale. Sunday lunch is a must with local roast meats and vegetables cooked perfectly. I guarantee you will love the food , friendly service, oerfect location right by the river, and like us will be must go to place

Very poor meal served up on a quiet Monday evening. Two of our party had buttermilk chicken burgers which were burnt to a cinder and pink in the middle. We sent them back but there was little in the way of an apology and we didn't have confidence in the chef to cook another one so ordered something else, which came when the other two in our party had almost finished. The burger meal which replaced one of the chickens was cold. There was no concession made on the bill and we left feeling we certainly wouldn't be back. On the very rare occasion I have had to send a meal back elsewhere it has been provided free or at least at a discount but no such service here. You don't expect to pay £16 for...

Well worth the visit, from the moment we arrived (well kept exterior with beautiful flowering baskets), and the warm welcome inside. The pub is clean and comfortable. We sat in the pub side, (closer to motorway but not much road noise). Menu is varied, with something for all appetites. We shared the special starter of butterlied sardines (could maybe use some kind of sauce/dip for the sardines we thought). For mains we had Nduja rigatoni, (smaller portion which was plenty, as the sauce was a little rich but very good) chicken Caesar salad, both were delicious (although I personally prefer skinless chicken).
