Visited with family for Sunday lunch. The service and team were very friendly however were slightly let down as the food took ages to arrive. I think there was a delay in the kitchen. It was well handled but was not ideal. Lovely location Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Will go back and let u know more, but they were closing, and we just managed to persuade the staff to allow us a quick drink b4 they closed. They weren't overly happy, probably tierd, but we were served... back soon! As it looked very cute, cozy and calm! Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

However, the restaurant was full when we arrived and it took about an hour and a half to receive our main meals after ordering. The price per person was £30-40. Visited the George for the first time today. The food was amazing, I had the chicken curry pie. Wow!!. The place is lovely with excellent staff. Had a wonderful lunch with a fantastic atmosphere. The average cost per person is between £10 and £20. The food was top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The service was excellent as well, also receiving a perfect score of 5. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was also rated a 5. Highly recommend trying the Whitebait and Salt and Pepper Crispy Squid dishes.
