An impromptu lunch, we had chicken and leek pie served with chips and nicely cooked carrots and peas. Quite filling and satisfying, would happily have the same meal on another visit.

Busy little pub in Dunchurch with a great atmosphere I particularly like the beer garden which is situated behind the pub in a large area with lots of tables. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the village.

I haven’t visited for a long time but they have a new chef or new ownership or something so we went. It was excellent the food was freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were friendly and kind. Car parking was easy.

Booked in for lunch after reviewing on line menu. Pub is a good traditional pub and was warm and inviting. Food was freshly cooked with a good selection to chose from! Prices were very good compared to most pubs these days! Bar staff were all welcoming and quick to serve! Will be back!

Great food, reasonable prices and generous portions. Large car park too and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I visited for lunch with friends and we have decided to use this place every time we meet up. Lots of locals use this place too which is always a good sign. Also very dog friendly (in the car) with even some dog treats provided.

Lovely little pub. Been twice this month as the steak was so lovely. Me and hubby had the steak and wine deal, 2 steaks and a bottle of wine 36. Steak was lovely, stilton sauce as an extra was lovely. Would highly recommend. Staff very friendly. My only one complaint was the choice of puddings......4 x chocolate choices not a big chocolate pudding fan, a nice lemon or cherry option would have been good. In the end so full up we didn't do a pudding anyway.....just a bit of constructive criticism.

Awful basically sums up the meal we had today. Table of 7 for Sunday lunch. The presentation was ok and the kitchen had done their best to make it look ‘cheffy’ Beef was awfully tough and hard to eat (some of us couldn’t). Yorkshires over done and tasted of a hint of old cooking oil. I’m not sure how I could explain the balls of stuffing. I’ve not seen or tasted anything like them before. The cauliflower cheese was the worst I’ve ever had it was like it had been put in a blender. My 80 year old Mother told the staff it was the worst meal she had ever experienced. Hopefully this was a one off for the pub but we won’t be going back.

We had a brilliant festive time at the Green Man yesterday for our family Christmas meal. We were a large party of 8 adults, 3 children and a dog. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and it was lovely to have the back room all to ourselves as we can get quite noisy when we all get together. The room was lovely with its decorations and Christmas tree, and the table looked really Christmassy with candles, table decorations and crackers. Everyone said how delicious the food was and how much there was of it. It was piping hot and came with all the trimmings. The desserts didn't disappoint either big portions and delicious. Family visit for Sunday lunch and not disappointed. The prawn cocktail starters were amongst the best we have ever had. Good size prawns with fresh crunchy salad and a pleasant dressing. Ended up sharing one! Then came the roasts, some 2 meat rib of beef and chicken, some just beef or chicken. Gammon also available. Beautifully presented, large portions topped with parsnip strips, with roast and new potatoes, cabbage laced with bacon, fresh mashed swede, cheesed cauliflower and of course a large yorkshire! Nice touch of extra gravy jug with each plate. Wow took some eating and delicious. Service was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Good selection of beers on tap. Clean fresh gents! Plenty...
