"I booked a table for four of us a while ago for breakfast. We have had excellent breakfasts in the past there thought it would be an excellent choice for our Bavarian visitors to join us before flying back home. The food was excellent as ever. However I was very disappointed to be taken to our table in the TV games room of the pub. We informed the waitress we had booked but were informed as we weren’t staying overnight at the Horse Jockey we couldn’t eat in the restaurant area. Previously when we’ve booked for breakfast we’ve always eaten in the restaurant the table has been set in preparation. Our guests enjoyed the food but I felt after seeing the almost empty restaurant that it was a little inflexible to seat us where we were."

Initially, service was a bit slow. Other than that everything was very good

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, enjoyed the range of starters. Just a bit chilly under the aircon.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The starters were delicious, we had finished them before our drinks even arrived! Although it was busy, that was no excuse for any delays. Visualizza piatti

The food at this restaurant is delicious and served hot, the ambiance is pleasing, and the staff is very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. I will definitely be returning again.

We had a wonderful evening as usual, enjoying a meal before watching the Champions League Final on the large screen TV. The food and service were excellent, but unfortunately, the match was disappointing.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good that they offer more on a Sunday than just roasts and are serving food into the evening. Would be a nice place to sit outside on a sunny day. Range of wines and beers. Visualizza piatti

we visited on the basis of other happy cheer reviews during the holiday and were not disappointed. it was a Sunday menu, so not so many options to choose, but still a few starters, either vegan root veg pipe or moving mountain burger and then a dark choc and hazelnut tar dessert with Vg ice. the coworkers were very friendly and helpful, beautiful environment and eating was excellent.

a decent pub with decent pub food. it has vegan options as part of its main menu, including the chef special tofu katsu curry that was not good. the reis tasted microshaft and was dry as a bone. the soße lacked taste and was hardly there. the baked tofu was more brot than tofu and did not taste fresh. when they are ready to make a meal from 'unusually vegan' and since suppene, pakoras and pommes, they are on a winner.

"Me and my partner visited here, we are new to the area and this looked like a nice little spot. We entered and waited around 7 mins before someone acknowledged us there were staff walking in and out the kitchen looking at us) we could see they were busy so we gave it the benefit of the doubt. We were given a table in the corner of the room which we couldn’t move as there were customers basically sat on each others knees it was very small. We got the waitress attention after around 15 mins and she asked us what we wanted and we hadn’t even been given a menu which I found very odd. We wasn’t sure if we ordered at the till or it was table service. We basically just got shown to a table in the corner. The staff were nice and friendly it just seemed chaotic. No one had a role, they were ALL in the kitchen, they were ALL give the food out and taking payment . ALL showing people to the table ect it was just a bit much and I felt stressed watching them in such a tiny place. The food it’s self was nice enough and the venue is lovely and quaint which we loved. We then got up to ask for the bill as we hadn’t seen anyone. Instead of taking our payment one stood round chatting to customers, one was laying a table and taking food and the other was in the kitchen and we waited well over 5 minutes at the till waiting for someone to charge us. Then to be told they don’t take card … it’s was all a bit of a shambles. It would have been nicer to receive that information when we walked in and was shown to the table. Not the best experience but not sure if this was just a bad day for the place."
