"Went for dinner with my wife, son and daughter over the weekend and we had a very good experience. Luckily we booked a table, because restaurant was really busy. Setting is quite basic, but really nice and attractive. Staff very friendly and attentive, very willing...to recommend dishes and make your stay a good experience. We were four adults and ordered the shack stack which is basically a large selection of seafood. It included some oysters, but because they were really good, we ordered more. Food was tasty, well prepared, well served, and you could tell that was fresh, really fresh. Really a great experience. Very positive surprise. A restaurant on my list to return on my next trip to Falmouth."

Great seafood in a great spot, lovely atmosphere. Everything is fairly priced does get busy so please book. The service was second to none and staff friendly.

visited this week for the first time as on holiday here. had the crevettes as starters that were just wonderful, followed by the special, plaice. the staff was very friendly and service very good. would go back when I next falmouth.

This restaurant was really typical and delicious. The staff was really friendly and they had really good suggestions. My mom recommend the Hot Crab that you have to break with a hammer! The staff suggested us the whitebait to try something from the region and...it was really good!

Came here for a spot of lunch whilst in Falmouth. We booked in advance which was lucky as the restaurant was pretty busy. We sat outside and it was a lovely day. The service was good, we had a mussel and prawn linguine which was...nice and a crab sandwich which was ok. Not a bad place for a nice lunch

If I am totally honest one of the main reasons for visiting Falmouth again was because of The Shack. As before the food was amazing and the service second to none. The quality and the freshness of the fish is the main draw and the...platter has everything the seafood lover could wish for. Thanks again and can’t wait to come back.

we visited this place 10 years ago and ate the seafood plate. we could not wait to visit again on our trip away to cornwall and we were not cancelled! absolutely fantastic seafood (order in advance if they want to be crab or lobster, so they can be sure that they have it for them, simply call it or email it) can not mistake the service, fast and friendly. they were more than happy, we were a small part of the meal of the child for our 1 year old. the pinot grigio is beautiful and works perfectly with the seafood. we were so happy to see the place still running and busy! such a tasty round and we cannot wait to get back a day!

last night I took my girlfriend for a meal in the hut, as she had not really tried meeresfruit. first we were greeted by super friendly staff who showed us on our table. my friend said what a wee she likes and. our waiter showed great knowing and took a bottle out for us, it was nice (when far to light) we had starters and snacks and both were exquisitely cooked, so fresh and tasty tasted. my only regret is that we were so full after I had no place to pudding! I hope that both the front of the house and kitchen staff will read how they made the whole experience fantastic. I would highly recommend and next time in cornwall we will be back.
