"I visited The Royal Oak during a walk around Kirby Muxloe for a drink and a bowl of chips. The pub offered a great selection of beer and spirits and the food was tasty. Staff and customers were friendly. The interior of the pub was nicely decorated, spacious and light. The exterior was also neat and tidy. I loved the look of the deli, with a range of meat, cheese and snacks on offer. I will definitely be returning for dinner or some deli snacks."

Went here for a couple of drinks while we stayed at the hotel down the road. The pub also has a bakery/tea shop.

Lovely cafe, restaurant, deli and pub all rolled into one! Such a nice atmosphere and a lovely selection of food and drinks.

Breakfast with Santa was good and wholesome family fun, plenty of food included, and plenty of variety for different tastes. The downsides were that the waffles seemed burnt, the crumpets were overcooked and Santa barely came by to see us.

I highly recommend this pub. Suitable for both families and cheerful groups, you can also buy food and baked goods from local farmers inside, which is very good. The food portions were more than enough to satisfy an adult. Everything was prepared very well and tasty!

Had the ploughman's sharing platter, and it was a bit disappointing. The sausage roll was very lack lustre no colour to it, and I've never known as sausage be perfectly round, almost processed, and the same with the pork pie, no taste to it and very wet, considering they have a deli there, I would have been more than happy to pay extra knowing that it all came out of the deli, other than that, the rest was good.
