"Arrived Tuesday for meal after a long journey with 3 month old and 3 year old If it wasn’t for Christine and her helpful lovely nature I’m not sure we would have stayed. Our meals were ordered together 4 Adults and child . 2 adult meals came after an hour and the remaining 3 after another hour! By this time we were all well fed up. Food was great when it came and Christine here there and everywhere she was clearly emotional and we chattered to her and she said she should have left at 4:30 and now it was 8pm .Clearly a staffing issue poor woman . I’m hoping she gets a bonus for keeping everything ticking over Bless you x"

Lovely meal in the sun and great service, the assistant manager always has a smile on her face, very friendly and welcoming, hope she enjoys her well deserved weekend off next week raising money for the air ambulance.

We had a couple of meals here. Service can be a little slow (it does get busy) but the food is great and really well priced. Staff are really friendly too (big shout out to Connor and Chloe). Would definitely eat here again

We stayed at the attached Premier Inn for two nights this weekend and ate and drank in here both nights. We had a fab time! The food was decent for the price and a nice quick meal. The staff were lovely and helpful, especially the young girl with the motorbike. We enjoyed (lots of) reasonably priced drink both nights, and especially enjoyed the karaoke on Saturday, and it was a bonus that the kids were able to join in. Would definitely visit here again if we were in the area

Wonderful meal at the Vine last night. Food service were excellent. Chloe made sure our little ones (1yo 2yo) were well looked after, bringing their food promptly and with a smile. It was lovely to have a chat with our waitress, she was attentive personable. Everything was piping hot (which Chloe was quick to point out so we could cool down for the kids) delicious. Very good value for the quality the menu has some great options. Would recommend to any families, especially with Wacky Warehouse soft-play for the children!

"My Wife and I don't travel so well these days but decided to go a little further afield from our usual Highcliffe and Christchurch haunts we live in Mudeford. We went twice in point of fact. The first visit was the 21st June when My wife and I had a quiet Birthday celebration lunch prior to the Family celebration later in the day. It was excellent. We only had the Mains and despite it being busy and not having booked we were served promptly and cheerfully with a round of drinks. My Wife had Chicken Pie and I had Liver and Bacon. Both were excellent and my Wifes vegetables were freshly done. I don't have vegetables. We liked it so much we went back three days later to celebrate our youngest Daughters birthday and again had lunch before the Family celebration later in the day. The meal was as fabulous as three days prior. My Wife had a Chicken Roast, our Daughter had Beef Roast and I had an amazingly well filled Steak and Merlot Pie of the Week. As before the vegetables were freshly done. Unusually for us we also had puddings (Lemon Meringue, Bailey's Cheescake and Apple Tart with Custard. All were excellent. All washed down with Tea and a Latte the former being served in nicely twee Teapots. Total cost £80 for the three of us on the second visit. Worth every penny. All in all First Class and couldn't fault it. Disabled parking nicely located in the front with ample parking for those more mobile at the side and back. Just a note for History buffs. The main building was built in 1853 by John Harrison(? a Carpenter thus the name Carpenters Arms."
