"After a long walk along the canal, I popped into the Waterwitch on Easter Sunday with the intention of just having a quick coffee. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the dishes coming out from the kitchen looked so tempting that we decided to order the Sunday roast. The food was wonderful—delicately cooked fresh vegetables, and the meat was incredibly tender. What I appreciated the most was that my roast dinner came with gluten-free Yorkshire pudding, which I had never been offered before. Even better, they could prepare the salted caramel and chocolate brownie gluten-free as well. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and one we look forward to repeating."

On our way to the water switch, we found the staff to be very friendly and they quickly seated us at a table. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.

Always a warm welcome from the staff and the menu offers a range of wholesome food that represent good value for money. Gin lovers should try the range of specialty gins especially nice to drink in the garden during the summer months. I went for Christmas dinner and had a fantastic meal. Unlike other places we visited before Christmas, it wasn't overcrowded. The service from the waiting staff and the manager was friendly and quick. I've dined here on other occasions and have never experienced bad service or poor meals. I will definitely be booking for next Christmas and cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you for an excellent Christmas experience!

I cannot recommend this fabulous place enough. My husband booked a surprise birthday lunch for me and organised for my sister to be there from Eastbourne with her family. Considering we had driven down from North West Cumbria the night before and the logistics of organising a meet up without me knowing was a credit to the staff, especially Georgie and Morgan. They were in on the surprise and the service was phenomenal as was the food. They even came out with a complementary bottle of fizz for me. Thank you again for a very warm welcome. Apologies to the other diners for my screams of surprise and delight when I saw my family waiting for me.
