Freundliche Bedienung! Sehr Kinderfreundlich. Haben das Unmögliche möglich gemacht. Haben extra für die Kinder kleine Portionen gemacht und diese dann nicht mal verechnet.

Das etwas versteckte Restaurant kann sich hier echt zeigen. Ein kleiner Steingarten mit Palmen lädt zu einem leckeren Festschmaus ein. Hier stimmt alles, die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen in gehobener Klasse zu moderaten Preisen. Hier kann man gemütlich einen Abend mit kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten geniessen.

We have visited this lovely restaurant 3 times in as many weeks and can’t wait to go back again. Just great food try the Vitello tonnato or the salad with wild mushrooms or quite simply the tasty risotto all beautifully presented and very tasty. My second visit to this lovely Restaurant .After a busy day travelling to and from ,from Zermatt . We decided to go here again .The food is lovely the ambience nice .Last time I was here was for lunch and I sat outside .But on this occasion as it was evening I was inside .The food is first class .In my opinion it is a bit special here .Cant beat it especially in the summer sitting in the lovely garden .

Obschon seit über 10 Jahren im Tessin haben wir das Castagneto (leider) erst jetzt kennen gelernt. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Liebevolle Präsentation der Speisen von höchster Qualität, freundlicher Service und eine einladende Einrichtung auch mit sehr geschmackvoller Tischdekoration. Das Preise-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Wir freuen uns schon, bei wärmeren Temperaturen dann auch im äusserst gepflegten Garten uns verwöhnen zu lassen. Ruth Hans, Muralto

Well ... if you looking for a perfect lunch or dinner in a quite tipical restaurant, away from the crowded piazza in ascona, but still not too far away to be reached by car ... this is the perfect location to go to! The food is fantastic, although the prices are quite high. The decoration and the flowers in summer can hardly be compared wirh anything else you've seen so far, and the owner of the place (mrs codiferro) is a great host!Try the giant cordon bleu for an extra charge of a few Seiss francs you will be stunned by its size!!!Well ... a fantastic, very original place to eat, to which you will always want to come back ... enjoy!
