Bella Sardegna - Piatti

We are big fans of Italian food and this is one of our Stamm places in the area. Honest Italian food, great service, good wines, buzzing atmosphere great place ! The green olives (complimentary) are the best in the world!

... and we've been to Italy a dozen times at least! We especially love the pasta rolled in the bowl of parmesean with oil and a bit of garlic. It is a family restaurant with cooks and servers who want everything to be perfect. Just...go--you will never be disappointed.

As other reviewers have said it is best to have a reservation. We were only in the area for one night and chose this restaurant on back of hotel recommendation. How busy could it be on a Tuesday night in early December ?The answer is...packed and we were very lucky to get a table. Food was great, traditional Italian and the prices were very competitive. This is Italian food adapted to local tastes, in this case German Italian. My fish carpaccio had pesto and grilled cheese on the mussels. What?! The pappardelle porcini was watery and tasteless. One of the worst meals I have eaten, and not cheap if...this restaurant was in Italy, it would close within a week. I have visited many different regions of Italy and love Italian food. The environment in the restaurant is nice. If you come here, have meat. Some other reviewers went for fresh fish and had a good experience. The service is okay but nothing special we arrived at and had to rush to be out by with the restaurant about half full

I'm a big believer in the principle Follow the locals. They know where to eat And this restaurant is one of the reasons why. I have learned to avoid the Bella Sardegna before PM, or even PM. I am usually visiting as a...single, but won't get a table anyways, because there are so many visitors. But waiting for the right time is just fine, if you know what to do. My all time fevourite meal was meat in Marsala sauce: Ever since, I have attempted to copy this recipe, without even getting close to that Marsala sauce. we had a reservation and was here with my wife for dinner at nov her eating is undoubtedly good, there are sorts of fish dishes that they can get. they serve some salate and very thin pizza bread with olive oil, which is...in some way included in the cost of dishes. the restaurant was completely full and some people even came after me, the rabbit/hare meat that was there as a day menu. my wife had ordered a lamb dish, but it was hard and fibrous, she didn't like it. there were two men and two women (both with short height, one wore specifications and the other without) to look for the guests. the lady with the speculators took care of our table. we were usually entertained until our order wa...
