"to cross the fountains and after counting them, we were drawn to the dish indicated on the slate that we crossed the door. nice surprise at the level of the dishes, the beef simmered in maroons and ceépes and for me, squid with chorizo accompanied by a risotto. For dessert, the tangerine cheats the eye. Perfect for a noon."

"pizzeria that we used to attend several times a year during our holidays, we were simply thrown away while we arrived at 8:40. Too bad... the old owner used us to good pizza and was more than welcome. So, perennial going to eat in places where we know we're going to eat well, our first meal was planned at the bello canto. But, coming inside, we were simply told that there was no possibility of eating. All the tables being occupied, the last free booked and, visibly, the two tables on reserve inside could not be assembled although the two people working with the bosses did not do much at that time.When we have two people arriving at that hour, if we are a little merchant, we take care of it. Especially since we used to go 4 to 5 times on our stays. So, if you want a good welcome, avoid."

"Perfect late summer evening. Gorgeous colors. Resident cat lapping from the fountain. Across from a church, with names of villagers lost in WWI, WWII and Algeria. The tinny bell tolled on the hour. For us that was 5 times from 7 to 11. Know beforehand...this is an experience that cannot be rushed or revealed until you are seated. When we made the reservation we were asked about food allergies. The menu is fixed and changes daily. The wife of the chef does a beautiful, almost mesmerizing presentation of the courses. We asked her to create a flight of wines to go with our meal. She is either very intuitive or has secret powers. Spot on for us. We had 2 whites, a slightly chilled red and shared a red dessert wine. First course had steak tartare with herbs and herring fish eggs, octopus and mussels. 2nd course fresh trout with purée of smoked eggplant, 3rd eel with cabbage and crunchy bits, 4th was pork, artichokes, and anchovies. Then there was an emulsion of blue cheese and the dessert was a dark chocolate bombe with gold bits on top and some kind of biscuit inside, accompanied by hazelnut ice cream. Had I known, I might not have ordered several of the dishes. But it was a night of marvels and learning. Maybe even magical. No wrong notes. Amazing sauces. Seasoned perfectly. 4 stars because 5 church bells is a long meal for us. We had a 7:30 reservation. Last group seated was close to 9:30. We were the first to leave. About 20 spaces outdoors. We live in Switzerland. The cost of the meal and the wines came to about 156€. Not a single complaint on that score. Challenging to get a reservation. Please plan in advance."

"Pernes-Les-Fobtaines è trascurata dalle guide turistiche, e se arrivi qui scopri quanto sia grave questa dimenticanza: è bellissima. In più, specialmente a pranzo, approfittando del menu previsto, potrai mangiare in modo sublime ad un prezzo finalmente abbordabile. Ricorderò la piacevolezza dell'ambiente, con musica soffusa di buon gusto al volume giusto, l'arredamento bello e caldo, la gentilezza del personale, ma soprattutto la bontà dei piatti, serviti con attenzione alla estetica e alla temperatura giusta. Il fagottino di formaggio caprino e miele e l'agnello erano speciali, cosi come il dolce.Bravi, bravi, bravi!!!"

"For us, nothing to say. We didn't eat pizza. for other people, even taking into account that one of the two ovens was hs. It's hard to let people wait that way. Especially with a disabled child. by respect, by professionalism, by humanity. Deplorable! To take advantage of being the only restaurant that day opened, to this point. sad, sad"
