"Pre-Christmas evening with colleagues. First of all, the place is beautiful and trendy and we are in Milan but given the agreed menu for the modest sum of 63 euros (below) they made a mistake by bringing us a lower quality one. The quality of the food is low, the portions are tiny and I left the place quite hungry. Summary go there if you like the form and appearance and believe that the substance is ultimately not important. PS They magnanimously granted us a discount of 3 euros for the error on the menu Welcome with a glass of Classic Method and savory cream puffs with goat cheese, walnuts and olives Seafood salad with octopus and prawns Paccheri with scampi and lime sauce Artisan Panettone with lemon cream from the Amalfi coast Beverage: 1 drink per person, wine of your choice between Arneis, Chardonnay, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Merlot, Prosecco. Ecco una recensione riscritta in italiano: Posto molto carino per un aperitivo. I cocktail sono un po' particolari e in dosi non molto abbondanti, ma non fate affidamento sul cibo dell'aperitivo; dovrete sicuramente ordinare un piatto extra da condividere. Cena al Botanical consigliata. Anche se avevo richiesto un tavolo non centrale nella prenotazione, mi è stato assegnato un tavolo tra gli altri. Poco dopo che ci siamo seduti, si è liberato un tavolo in un angolo, ma ci hanno detto che era già riservato: il che non era vero, poiché due ragazze sono arrivate subito dopo e si sono sedute a quel tavolo. We give one star because the drink actually wasn't bad... like everything else. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired, terrible welcome from the waitress. He sticks his head out of the room to take the order. At the second drink ordered he doesn't tell us that the place is closing... so he brings the drink at the same time as the bill... we pay. he comes back to the club and tells us to pour the drink into the paper cup because they are closing. "Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
