absolutely lovely, food was hot, service was out of this world, well worth a trip, a very friendly pub, nothing was too much trouble, even the sweets were good

I frequent this pub every week. I have tried multiple menu choices and the food is always delicious. The prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

This pub obviously gets very busy at lunch time so it is a good idea to book in advance. There is a sizeable car park. Unfortunately they did not have the home made steak pie I wanted but the lasagna was tasty

I had a wonderful experience at this charming country pub. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon. The locals were also very welcoming and made us feel right at home.

This was an excellent venue. We were made to feel welcome, despite there only being 10 minutes left for food service. Our meal was with us within 20 minutes, and was both generous portions and good quality food. We especially liked the fun quiz, available to do whilst waiting, leading to discussion and competition! Absolutely brilliant, the food is out of this world I had lasagna with curly fries love the lasagna home made, my husband had malt chicken with chips, my brother in law had home made steak pie with mash veg and gravy, my sister in law’s vegetarian she had 3 egg omelette was huge. The bar manager is very friendly make you feel very welcome and the rest of the staff were all brilliant too

We have been here several times over the last few months and each time the meals are excellent and the portions very large you never go away hungry! The staff and landlord are very friendly and welcoming and the Landlord is continually going around interacting with the customers laughing and joking with them whilst at the same time making sure that all is well. I would recommend this pub unreservedly

Today, my friends and I had a table booked for Sunday lunch at 12.15. The food was delicious as usual. However, we were disappointed when we were shown the dessert menu but no one came to take our orders, despite us asking three times. We waited until 1.45 when a young lady finally came to our table and told us to move because they wanted it. We paid our bill and left without dessert. Malt Shovel Bubbenhall, you need to improve your customer care and service. We would have ordered four desserts and more drinks, but because of the lack of attention, you lost our business.
