Excellent attentive service with happy staff my husband and I had roast pork with seasonal vegetables,kale, roast potatoes with rosemary, cauliflower cheese,gravy all cooked to perfection.

The service and ambiance were excellent. Unfortunately, the food was just average. It was also quite noisy inside, which we didn't mind, but it might be an issue for others. Price per person: £10–£20. Food: 3/5, Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.

frankly the best local pub that you could wish, amazing friendly staff all full of buzz and always smile, could not do more to make their stay more welcome. beautiful garden place with lots of space for her pooch to walk around. beautiful selection of drinks to satisfy every bud. the natives are also friendly, a wonderful friendly baptismal peeps. stop!

We enjoyed the roast dinner, which was absolutely delicious! It came with a generous Yorkshire pudding, ample meat, and rich gravy. If I'm being honest, I would have preferred a bit more vegetables, although the ones we had were cooked to perfection. We had our first visit to a pub since the lockdown for a proper meal, and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The bubble and squeak starter was beautifully presented, and the Broken Cadry beer was delicious. The garden is lovely, and the interior is just as charming. You might think I gave it 5 stars just because I’d forgotten how nice it is to go out, but that’s not the case. I gave it 5 stars because I couldn’t find a single fault.

Popped in for an early improptu Saturday lunch. First through the doors and Olivia gave us free reign over tables, so we plumped for by the fire. Just intended to go for mains Supreme of Chicken with porcini mushroom and thyme sauce on a potato and onion rosti topped with spinach, tender and tasty, but I hd Sea Bream with samphire dill and prawn bisque amazing! Bream crispy skinned and perfectly cooked, and a lick your plate clean sauce, served on a dill potato cake. Would definitely have it again! Could not resist the Banofee Pavlova truly next level!
