The food, drinks, and service were all excellent and I will certainly be coming back.

This pub is friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed a good pint while sitting in their beer garden in the sunshine.

The warm welcome and attentive service, along with the top-notch food and presentation, created a great atmosphere. Plus, it was fantastic value for money. Easily one of the best lunches I've had around here in a while.

I hadn't been to Red Lion in years because the quality had declined, but I decided to give it another try and I was pleasantly surprised. We had a wonderful evening with great service from friendly staff. The live music was really nice and we decided to have dinner. The whitebait was awesome and good value. We will definitely be returning.

This pub may not look like much from the outside, but it is definitely worth stepping inside. You will receive a warm and friendly welcome and be seated quickly. They offer a variety of traditional pub dishes as well as some unique options. The main meals and desserts are of great quality. They also have a selection of real ales and delicious coffee. A really pleasant and easy experience from start to finish. The landlord emailed me the menu and I also had a call back to check on one of the items. Really pleasant staff, very friendly. Seated quickly, there were 10 of us. Food was really good, piping hot, decent sized portions and all arrived pretty much at the same time. Not overpriced at all my dad and his wife both agreed they are ditching their usual hangout and coming back to the Red Lion. Will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff and David the landlord. A truly brilliant experience. I want to say a huge thank you to all of the staff. We came in with a group of friends and family, the lovely waitresses welcomed us straight away and were so, so friendly throughout the stay. Always smiling, which puts a smile on our face as customers. The food was exceptional but what is perhaps the nicest touch is that when the chef finished, he didn’t rush away. He was speaking to all customers, asking if they’d enjoyed their night a real landlord. A pleasant surprise of a Sunday night quiz also!! Thank you to everyone at The Red Lion. You’re all fabulous

We booked the red lion for celebration for 36 people. Communication before the event was brill, Abbie went out of her way to check we were happy with everything and to take orders before our meal, accommodating requests not even on the menu. On arrival, Abbie introduced herself and all the staff who would be serving us that night. The meals were enjoyed by all of us, the pork belly that I had was delicious and all the food was piping hot. The staff went out of thier way to accommodate our requests and were friendly and smiling throughout. I would highly recommend a meal here and would definitely book again for a family event.
