"This experience was out of this world. I’m still recovering from how everything was an orgasm in my mouth!! The parmesan was incredible, the torta frittas were soft and crisp at the same time. The eggplant was INSANE. it was one ingredient but it tasted like 3 separate dishes! Genius. And the pasta risotto i mean please. So so good. I would come back. Matter of fact, i will come back before i leave Parma. And may even come again just to come to Gallo d’oro again! Our server Francesco was also so amiable and helpful! Highlight of my Italy trip so far"

I really enjoyed the tris di tortelli, all three flavors (cheese, spinach and pumpkin) were delicious and perfectly cooked, but my favorite was the pumpkin. Service was friendly, though a little bit scattered, and they tacked on a service fee of about 20%. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Abbiamo adorato la nostra cena. Il cameriere molto bello ci ha aiutato a scegliere una bella cena, a partire da una classica tagliere di salumi di Parma. Essendo americani, ci siamo presentati presto (530pm! Eppure hanno servito volentieri una bella cena che durò fino alle 20. Altamente consigliare per grande servizio e ottimo cibo. Off the beaten path, close to the main road in the heart of parma. Nice large place with a large menu. The house wine was great, the pasta was good, and the meat plate was large. The waiter never returned, and we had to figure out how to check out. Watch your bill as they charged us for 3 wines when we had 2. When I questioned it, she gave me my money back without even asking the waiter. Service: Dine in
