Started off a little weird....waitress told us they were out of several dishes (including the vegetarian one my wife was about to order). However, a second waitress took our order and the missing items miraculously reappeared. Lentil curry was very good as was the apple...

Had a delicious meal here, good was incredibly good. Especially the salmon and leek risotto with deep fried poach egg! We sat in the restaurant as the bar area was really busy, restaurant area was beautiful. Staff lovely and friendly too. Can't wait to come back! Service: 5 Location: 5

This restaurant is in the perfect location for a night out in Grassington. It's lovely for walks in the dales and there are lots of little shops, pubs, and restaurants to choose from. A beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. We stayed for two nights during our holiday across Yorkshire and had a wonderful experience. We dined on delicious food for breakfast and dinner and as a vegan, it was such a treat to have options! The staff was wonderful. Agi at the front desk is an absolute gem, so thoughtful, friendly and accommodating she goes out of her way to help. Would highly recommend! Rooms: 5

Stayed 3 nights here for a long weekend mid November, had a great time here, room was clean and had all that we needed, plenty of very good breakfast options, and the 2 evening meals we had were also pretty good too live music on one night also really good, and the local beers on tap excellent. There were quite a few dogs, which are allowed in half the breakfast/dinner area as well as the bar and rooms, but it wasn't really an issue for us. There's no parking, and probably won't get parked in the square nearby, but there's a couple of car parks nearby where you can leave the car overnight.

I had a meal at the Black Horse Hotel while I was staying in Grassington. The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. There was a small mistake with the main course order, but it was quickly resolved. The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tastes. I started with the loaded fries, which had a bit too much barbecue sauce for my liking. For the main course, I had the beer battered haddock and chips, which was of excellent quality.
