"The customer service was excellent, which is what you would expect given the restaurant's target clientele. We utilized a private room for our gathering, which accommodated some additional guests without any issues. Overall, the experience and atmosphere were very enjoyable. Additionally, the waitress had a great rapport with our group. The food was delicious, prepared to a high standard, and served promptly. There were a few mistakes with the orders, but that's understandable given the size of our party. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is due to the slightly higher price point and the minor order errors. Otherwise, I was very pleased and will definitely return."

The food here is amazing. Never had a bad meal here. Particularly love the Sunday roasts. Delicious coffee too. Would love to see a dairy free/vegan pudding on the menu though.

beautiful pub. they had a few veggie dishes on their menu, I had the veggie sausage and maic. it was nice that the parts were so big! sat on Saturday night and had a great atmosphere and the service was not to be forgotten. everyone who served us was super friendly! will go back!

Met a friend for brunch at this lovely spot for the first time, and I was truly impressed! The location is beautiful, both inside and out, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. I had the buttermilk pancakes with speck and maple syrup, and they were absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be going back!

High recommendation from me. The steak and Stilton salad is divine. Steak cooked to perfection; melt in the mouth. I wasn't drinking, but those who were said the wine was fantastic. Staff friendly with the right amount of attentiveness to our needs. Coffee is of a good standard, and the calamari and pork belly (I tried someone else's starter) were cooked perfectly, too. We went here for my uncles wake on Monday, we're not local to the area but my auntie said it's a family favourite of theirs. We were greeted by 2 very welcoming and friendly bar tenders to order drinks. We had a gorgeous buffet for the wake and there was plenty of food to go around with lots of leftovers. All staff were extremely attentive and polite. Made sure the tables were cleared regularly and felt very welcome the whole time. Would definitely recommend anytime.

Booked a meal for five of us today, first visit to the Forge, will not be our last. From the moment we arrived the service was welcoming and efficient. We enjoyed three courses from both the carvery and the standard menu, the food was superbly cooked and presented and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. I can't remember the last time I had a dining experience this complete, it was certainly some time ago. If you're thinking of going, I recommend it and I'm not easily pleased.
