Had an Easter roast dinner with my family good food and drinks, staff are very friendly, definitely coming back!

Brilliant carvery, safe are so amazing, very helpful can't do enough for you, really it injoy the whole experience

Had a lovely meal with friends tonight. The food was so nice. It had been recommended to me by several friends. They weren't wrong. Lovely smiles from the waiting staff too.

Sunday dinner is great. I'd give it 4.5/5. The only annoying thing is that the stuffing used to be balls, and you could get more than one. If they did a steak pie option with the Sunday lunch, it gets a true 5/5. The main menu stuff on a weekday is also really good.

We went in for some lunch and had a gorgeous beef ciabatta with caramelised onions. We shared a portion of chips which were best homemade chips we've had in a long time. The staff were lovely and welcoming as always. We love coming here especially for Sunday dinner.

We were wonderfully full coming out of this lovely establishment with their lovely staff and wonderful ambiance. We had Hunters chicken and it is to die for. Chicken perfectly cooked, the sauce was spot on, the chips were just right and the coleslaw was creamy perfection. Overall, the meal was perfectly balanced and moreish. I can not recommend The Manvers Arms enough. Recommend!!!!

Amazing little pub, been coming here for a few years now, always impressed with the food, great beer garden with a lovely play area which kept my son entertained. It’s a good for a quiet drink but also accommodating to larger groups. We had a large party for my dads birthday, every meal was spot on and everyone said it was really nice. So much nicer than some of the ‘bigger’ establishments in the area!! Spot on!!

Visited today (Sunday on Father's day). We were glad we'd booked a table as it was v.busy, usually you can just walk in. We had the carvery, you can have one or two meats and them you select your own veggies. There was a good selection of veggies and they were cooked just nice and just tender not too hard. The gravy was very tasty too. My husband and daughter also ordered a dessert, the chocolate fuge cake and a brownie, they enjoyed.them. We would recommend this traditional pub.

We had to ask for menus even though other tables had been given them before us,they arrived after we were seated.On asking the waitress she said I thought you had already placed your order.Other tables got their food before us that had ordered after us,it seems there was a lack of communication between staff. No one seemed to be organising the staff we waited an hour for our food to arrive.Some one came to say sorry for the delay there was a problem in the kitchen this was after we had finished our meal she also stated they were busy with a large party in the other room.If they knew they were really busy more staff should of been put on it appeared the party was given most of the attention.W...
