they were very busy but very good. eating is good old pub food, good quality and good portion sizes. the personal was super friendly and accommodating.

Welcome stop off for lunch after doing the gorge walk . Thatcher’s cider and delicious food, both dishes were off the specials board and were lovely, the service was quick and friendly, definitely one to return to.

stopped here for an impromptu lunch after visiting brean beach. the staff were all very friendly, the pub is both kind dog friendly. we ordered the rindfleischburger vegan garden Burger-Both were extremely tasty we will definitely be back soon.

Nice pub set in a scenic area. In food with generous portions. Prices reflect a tourist area but not really “trap” prices. Beer garden is a must with kids slide and a great view. Ale selection not great but cider is the specialty in Somerset. So when in Rome…..

great pub next to the ****. there are many seats inside. the menu has vegan, vegetarian and meat options. they also have the local people. the staff is friendly and helpful. we went straight into the pub after we had finished the hike in the cheddar ****. great place for eating at cheddar.

great discovery! really friendly and efficient customer service. they have a large gluten-free menu and offer for zöliakie. we only thought of a drink, but when we got to the next table, we were sold! really good quality eating to reasonable trips. large beer garden with view of the shlucht. would highly recommend.

Very good food, beams and decor gives a great old pub feel. Wheelchair access is limited no accessible amenities. I must table service wasn't timely we weren't surprised as they were needing staff. The staff in attendance was polite. Would have been a 5 star, just the disabled amenities not being available let the place down for us a bit.
