"Had a lovely Sunday carvery here last week. Lovely decor and really lovely food thats saying something because im a good cook and hard to please) The meat was top quality and so tender, all the veg was beautiful. We also had starters and they were lovely too. Nice little touches like the cutlery was really snazzy, the starters were plated up very nicely, great staff. I would of given it 5 stars but the atmosphere wasn't the cosy pub feel you would expect, it has always been that way so I think it's just the building it's in. It was the day time but maybe some lower lightning and music would help. Don't let that put you off though, the food is well worth it. Just book before you go as it's a busy place. They also do carvery on Friday Saturday and Sunday too."

great. mine and hubby’s favorite place to dinate. good atmosphere and pleasant staff. eating is always super boiled to perfection and very beautifully presented. we also enjoy live music on Friday night.

had a nice eating here during the stay close. the staff was very friendly and attentive. the food was delicious and the service was fast and they have a playground outside for children. would definitely recommend.

close to stay, had a beautiful gammon steak, with salat and sweet. happy to adapt the meal to keto diet and edgy allergy. helpful and friendly staff. would recommend a visit,big price-performance ratio. good real ale. well organized/separated for Covid restrictions.

Very clean and comfortable pub. Nicely decorated with nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Plenty of room between tables. The service was quick and friendly. Good menu, not expensive, food was good, well cooked and hot. For beer drinkers very good cask beer. 3 pound a pint.

ajl. what a farewell with the family that was before. the table service was abysmal, [waitress spilled my suppe and forgot one of the most important courses,`Hähnchen and when it finally arrived, it was overcooked and unedible] the rest of the food was mundane best! Maybe she caught on a bad day, but surely will not go back to find out!

the windmill tavern is a wonderful place to eat. large selection of dressed for the whole family, fresh and cooked to order. service is also great with very helpful staff. the windmill tavern itself is a wonderful building from the beaten stretch, quiet location with ample parking space. the interieur is very beautiful and was designed. they offer a warm, costly atmosphere.
