"Buscábamos un sitio donde se estuviera cómodo y pudiéramos comer con calidad-precio y sin duda fue el lugar perfecto. El trato del camarero que nos atendió fue excelente, aunque no nos tenían la reserva que se realizó por The Fork y tuvimos que esperar a que nos colocarán una mesa dentro, aunque pedimos fuera en terraza o en el patio. Pero la comida fue excelente y con una presentación inmejorable. Sin duda repetiremos cuando volvamos a Sevilla"

Very poor service and food. Asked if they can open up the awning and was told they will if they find the time, in the end we had to open it ourselves. Received moldy bread and the staff did not even apologize for it.

Found this to be an excellent tapas place with food as good as or better than places where we paid much more. Not only were prices reasonable but portions were larger than expected for tapas. Highly recommend the fried artichokes which were just wonderful.

At first we did not expect to go to this restaurant, however we wanted to eat outside so we took our chances. We were very surprised because the food was very good and staf were very friendly. I recommend this place to eat. And I strongly recomend to go to La Carboneria after to see and listen some flamenco which is very close to Bar Carmela.

I do want to note that the atmosphere was different between sitting inside or outside. One is not necessarily better or worse, just different. We had the spicy potatoes, which were very good! For food, we had the pollo teriyaki, and the montadito. Food wasn't particularly memorable, but a subtle place we stopped by after a long walk through the alcazar. The pollo teriyaki was good. But the potatoes are a must!
