"We had lunch there this past Sunday and had no expectations. We had a great surprise! We were seated on a porch like area that was glass enclosed and air conditioned over looking the patio which serves copas and dinner in the evening hours. The menu was varied and original! I had a Cesear Salad to start, the price was inexpensive so I expected it to be small but NO! It was a good size with lots of crispy chicken. For my second plate I ordered a steak on a bed of creamed celery and topped with caramelized onions and mushrooms. The other person in my party had what they called Fake Risotto which was a pasta shaped like risotto cooked with Plankton giving it its green coloring with lots of Scallops and Squid. The 1st plate for the other person was an original take on Rabo de Toro and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Aside from the food being fantastic, the price was astoundingly inexpensive and the server was wonderful. He was knowledgable of the dishes and provided interesting conversation. He sent the chef out to meet us as we loved the Rabo de Toro and its originality. The Chef wanted our feedback first hand. I can not recommend this place highly enough."

We had dinner at Mastropiero and were convinced by the imaginative touch they give to their dishes, trying to combine local produce with international products and recipes (e.g., Asian gyoza filled with extremadura lamb). The quality of the products they use in their cooking seemed top. A sole server managed to give a friendly and professional service. The prices are moderate for what you get. Last, the premises, with the balcony overlooking their beautiful garden and the city landscape led to a lovely evening atmosphere.
