Oscars Pizza - Menu

We visited Oscars as it had gluten free pasta on the menu. Waited over an hour and a quarter for pasta dishes and a pizza no starters. Food arrived as we were about to leave was very tasty but lukewarm. The meal...could have been a lovely treat but was disappointed. It was quite draughty sitting by the door in January the ladies toilet door looked as if someone had kicked their way out!

I visited this restaurant with friends on New Years Eve. I ordered Granchio which the menu described as fresh crab, garlic, chilli, fresh cherry tomatoes and white wine. When it was put in front of me i can only describe it as prison slops. Not...a fresh cherry tomato in sight. They must have thought i had no teeth because it was basically something a month old baby would eat! I wont be returning!

Pizzas were sadly nothing to write home about, took forever to arrive and the service was… not great. They could use a bit of training to help them back to what they used to be but forward post pandemic. Clearly a strong local audience who...could really be benefit from a refreshed offering, positives were The pizza ingredients were clearly quite fresh, a good basis on which to grow. If your going to put the word pizza in your name and offer pizza, it needs to be iconic, not just ok. X

sung for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! we had both pasta dishes, which were magnificent charges, which is heaven for me. menu had many veggie options that was brilliant. they were out of a few ingredients, as we are quite dinated, but they were very accommodating and an adjustment to my partner meal. the waitresses checked us several times and were very nice and helpful. the atmosphere was also beautiful, I remember tacting the music as soon as we got in. when I am back in king’s longley, I will definitely come back!

eating was great, but the atmosphere was very lacking! can not harm the food, it was reasonably expensive and authentic fresh. the waitress was good, but had no charm or warmth. I thought very much as if we were an inconvenience that ruined our visit. Maybe she had a bad day. Finally, there was an offer where children eat between certain hours. we arrived well in time for it, but when we ordered that we missed the offer only minutes! because we had children, it was a big unexpected cost. we did not argue, but the feeling that they could have advised us when they sat or at least offered us something as geste.

Having been regulars of Oscars for a few years we have always been big fans on the food, the pasta dishes have always been outstanding. We have recommended Oscars to many friends of ours but this sadly won't be the case going forward. We visited...last week and were so disappointed with the food, the recipe for all our dishes had been changed and not for the better. Watery sauces, sloppy pasta, no flavour, and then when we mentioned it to the staff there response was to correct our bill as they had forgotten to add on two ice creams. Really disappointed as we have always loved it here but certainly won't be returning unless the old chef comes back.

Popped into Oscars on the off chance after having family around. Hadn’t visited there in ages. Arrived pre and the restaurant had a few patrons eating. Friendly staff who greeted us, seated us straight away. We was a party of adults and One gripe was that there was a sign saying no pasta. Which was a little disappointing. out of the adults had pizza which were lovely and there was plenty. So much that we all needed to get doggy bags/boxes. My partner had the chicken and mushroom risotto which she enjoyed. The child had a starter and pizza from the child’s menu, the deal was the child would eat for a with a paying adult. stood by the door for about minutes, while several employees looked at us / went to us without knowing we were even there. before we even got to the table, we were told we had an hour (booking slot was an hour that we were told about the menu, so it had to find out. eating came extremely fast. my partner ordered a kalzon that we did not recognize came with absolutely no base or soße at all, it was extremely dry and salty and not what they need when they starve! he dipped this into my pasta sauce and left some despite starving. too much rocket that fell from the plate to the table seemed unnecessary! it was a shame when we had been very excited to our jubilee for this meal and had heard good...

yesterday with the family for oscars lunch. I was in the door and stood there while nobody recognized us. the waitress came by twice and I would be basic to smile and say to be with you at a moment! When we set ourselves, we were told that we had a waiting time for what was good, since we were there to get some drinks, so it wasn't in a hurry. we ordered chicken in a creamy estragon sauce and pasta dishes and a cheesy garlic bread. I am still in shock and what the kitchen seemed to think was acceptable to send out. the freche garlic bread I sent back directly, as it was swimming in fat and oil! now obviously with you would be a bit fat on the top because of the cheese bring melted, but my Go...
