Excellent pre theatre meal served by staff who demonstrated genuine interest in their clients experience. Lovely menu served attractively with good house wine.

What an incredible place! The food is a true masterpiece! They have an excellent selection of wines and the service is impeccable. Everything is flawless! I highly recommend it. I visited on a Sunday.

and the team made my 50th party fabulous! instead, eating and service were all amazing. 14 of us in the undercover area in the courtyard at the back of the restaurant, with heating, sitting area, music and fantastic atmosphere. they have recorded everything we wanted and I could not recommend it very much. perfect place. thank you.

Superb modern restaurant! 5* food, 5* drinks, 5* service and 5* atmosphere. Welcoming smiley staff help you to settle in quickly. Theres a large variety of choices on the menu, i picked tuna tartare to start, monkfish for main and the ' deconstructed chocolate bar ' for dessert, completley faultless. Fabulous cocktail list!! In search of a lunch spot before our afternoon theater performance, we stumbled upon Purchases. The charming courtyard provided a serene escape from the bustling shops and scorching sun. What a fantastic choice it turned out to be! The food was exceptional— we enjoyed all three courses, and the house rosé was delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the lovely experience. We then topped off our day with an outstanding production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' featuring Omid Djalili. It truly was a perfect day!

the first time that I have seen bark meat wellington on the menu since 1995! in these silly 'what would be their last meal question ' discussions, I always say without hesitation, bark wellington! and that was not disappointed! boiled to perfection! it was a very special occasion why we celebrated with friends and the whole experience was on the spot! super, helpful staff, which despite the closing of the front door almost an hour ago, (we were outside enjoying the sun and had no warning of the time or that it had actually closed! but never rushed and offered us tee and coffee, even after we suddenly realized that it was closed now! obviously we did not accept the offer, but how friendly was...

High expectations. Great disappointment. Nice ambience and service was fine. But food very second rate and not particularly cheap. Fish was very wet and overcooked and full of bones. Risotto had a very strange taste to it. We tried 3 different deserts and none matched the description eg tarte tatin was actually a poached apple. All where disappointing. We would have complained if we weren't on route to the theatre. If food quality is important to you I would avoid Purchases.
