"The Tesla map program found this pub because it was near our route and well rated. We were only looking for a quick bite to carry us through our journey. We both had BLT’s so afraid our experience is admittedly limited but we both loved our sandwiches, fresh, home made sourdough bread, crisp bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato. Service was prompt and very attentive! Next time we will plan the journey so we have more time!"

Wonderful Sunday lunch. No play equipment in the garden for kids but lots of kids and space to run around so they had a wonderful time.

Lovely countryside pub, with friendly and helpful staff, serving decent pub grub. I had the sirloin steak sandwich, which I happily devoured. Harcourt Arboretum is a few minutes away by car.

very busy for Sunday dinner, with a later and more frustrating delay in the arrival of food, but manager and employees were very accommodating/apologetic. when the meal finally arrived, they were excellent.

camping close to .so for a few drinks sat afternoon and Sunday with our dogs...big Brat dinner from what I could see .and the renter brought plate from left over bratkartoffeln foc for us. a visit worth visiting.

Amazing food and excellent service as always. The braised pork cheeks were off the planet good and the sweetcorn ribs were delicious too. Even the kids meal mini burger was better than many pubs can manage! Highly recommend.

our first time at the seven stars and certainly not the last. amazing Sunday roast, honestly the best of all time! very generous meal, nicely cooked, absolutely delicious. simply excellent. our compliments to the cook and the team. so welcoming and friendly. the pub is warm and cozy, beautifully presented, in a stunning rural village. perfect. many thanks for a beautiful experience.
