"came for a car on Easter Sunday afternoon. the lady who took the phone booking was very friendly and helpful and managed to book a table in the bar with our little dog. the staff was very friendly and attentive. the carvery was excellent with a great selection of sweets. the bar area had 4 tables and were all occupied by parents with their children who were under 10. Unfortunately, three men decided to stand at the bar chat and swear together while we all ate. they were very loud and their speech was inappropriate and inattentive. it was a pity that a coworker had no calm word with them instead of allowing them to lower the ton of this beautiful popular pubs."

we have fallen into the hands for a drink and maybe a lunch and were glad we made it! ends up staying for age groups in the beautiful garden, had a few drinks and something to eat, all delicious, the service was nice and all in all that we...has a nice afternoon. many thanks that we are back!

Turned up on a Sunday to find it was carvery only. This was really nice. But there is only one veggie option which was a beetroot Wellington which wasn't very nice. Couple of veggie options would be nice. A quorn option or something as the rest is the carvery. Vegetarian options: In Sundays, veggie option was not good and only option. Needs more thought. Parking: Get there early Sundays as full by 12pm Price per person: £20–30
