I can't tell you how amazing our experience at Casse Cailloux was. Patricia and Hervé are just the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is to die for and the wine list is really quite amazing. It was truly the best meal we had in France and what made it so special is connecting with Patricia and Hervé the owners. We had dinner at this little restaurant tucked away in the less touristy part of Tours. The food was amazing and Patricia was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu in English. We had the 3-course meal and every course was exceptional! We had salads for starters, fish and veal for the mains and chocolate cake and rhubarb compote. The fish was cooked perfectly and the veal just melted in your mouth. Of special mention was the chocolate cake - the centre consisted of melting chocolate! Cotto come si deve lo chef a saputo esaltare gli ingredienti in maniera esaltante !Quindi, Bravissimo lo chef e anche la moglie che si occupa della sala e dei vini (ottima cantina)Amici Italiani se cercate un ristorante a Tours non perdete tempo andate al Casse-Cailloux !Vi consiglio di prenotare !
