"During our week in Alnwick, we dined at this restaurant three times. The first time, we hadn't made a reservation but they were able to accommodate us. We were glad they did because we didn't want to miss out on this place. They have a wonderful selection of wines by the glass, including red, white, and rosé, and everything we tried was fantastic. I would definitely recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was always busy, and it's easy to see why. The prices were reasonable, and I highly recommend this place for delicious food and excellent service."

The food is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very popular both locally and further afield. Very popular it is advisable to book especially at busy times.

This was my first and most likely my last visit to this restaurant. The pizzas were good, but the pasta was terrible. Both mine and my partner's pasta were swimming in a watery sauce, making it more like ramen noodles than authentic Italian cuisine. I have tried carbonara dishes all over the world and this was the worst I've ever had. The staff were nice, but there were a lot of noisy kids in the restaurant.

The starter, maybe a bit of a misunderstanding but I usually think of potato skins as cooked potatoes scooped out, fried and filled not potato peeling scraps fried up. Mains, If you are going to the trouble of breading your chicken and frying to a lovely crispy chicken breast, don't then cover it in a wet sauce making it soggy, put it to the side. I noticed on your menu the carbonara says with a touch of cream, if you were a true Italian restaurant you'd know carbonara doesn't have cream in it. You need to do better.
